Paris Peace accords formally end Vietnam War

On January 27, 1973, representatives of the United States, North Vietnam, and South Vietnam signed the Paris Peace Accords, ending the Vietnam War. The US's chief negotiator, Dr. Henry Kissinger, was awarded the 1973 Nobel Peace Prize for his role in concluding the treaty and ending hostilities. Outer Space Treaty signed

On January 27, 1967, representatives of over 60 nations signed the "Outer Space Treaty," banning the orbiting of nuclear weapons. Review the Treaty on Principles Governing the Activities of States in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space, Including the Moon and Other Celestial Bodies.
