Michael Cohen files suit against Trump Organization

US President Donald Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen, filed suit in the New York Supreme Court against the Trump Organization Thursday.

Cohen alleges that the Trump Organization failed to meet its obligations under the indemnification clause of their contractual agreement and should have to pay for the legal fees in connection with the work he performed for the Trump Organization.

By failing to indemnify Cohen the Trump Organization allegedly “breached the covenant of good faith and fair dealings.” Cohen has incurred millions of dollars of legal fees in testifying before the Congressional committee and defending his actions while working at the Trump Organization.
