Vulcan Society, et al., US District Court for the Eastern District of New York, January 13, 2010 [holding that New York City intentionally discriminated against minority fire department applicants by continuing to use an exam that it knew placed those applicants at a disadvantage].

Armistice signed, ending WWI

Indictments announced in Lockerbie bombing

On November 11, 1991, prosecutors from the United States and the United Kingdom announced their indictments in the bombing of a passenger airplane over Lockerbie, Scotland.
