Prosecutors drop bid to retry Scrushy for perjury

[JURIST] Prosecutors announced Wednesday that they will not appeal a judge's decision to drop perjury charges [JURIST report] against former HealthSouth CEO Richard Scrushy [JURIST news archive], who was previously acquitted of fraud charges [JURIST report].
