Federal judge stays ruling in employment discrimination suit against UPS

[JURIST] US District Judge Thelton Henderson has stayed his own ruling that UPS violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by barring deaf and hearing-impaired workers from driving delivery trucks. After handing down his opinion in October, Henderson had given the company 30 days to change its policies, but Henderson has now issued a stay so that UPS can appeal to the 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals. He remained in power until he was forced from office and into exile by the People Power Revolution in 1986.
