UN-Cambodia Khmer Rouge genocide trials agreement

Agreement Between the United Nations and the Royal Government of Cambodia Concerning the Prosecution Under Cambodian Law of Crimes Committed During the Period of Democratic Kampuchea [setting up a UN-backed tribunal that will put leaders of the Khmer Rouge regime on trial for genocide and crimes against humanity]. WWI gas attack on Canadians led to first chemical weapons ban

On April 24, 1915, the German army used chlorine gas against Canadian troops at Ypres. Gas was later employed by British and French forces against the Germans.
