Belgrade Law School Web Site Fades to Black

Special to JURIST

Pittsburgh, March 30 - The Web site of the Faculty of Law at the University of Belgrade has faded to black. Yesterday the usual law school site was replaced by a black background accompanied by a bilingual notice (in Serbian and English) declaring "Bombing of Yugoslavia: International Law and Justice Destroyed". Linked from the site were English, Serbian, German and French versions of the letter sent earlier to JURIST calling for help in ending the bombing and resuming the Kosovo talks. The revised Web site also states that "Lecturing is being cancelled as long as the NATO agression on sovereign Yugoslavia lasts."
