Corin Stone Explains the Evolution of the US Intelligence Community

On this episode of the JURIST Podcast, moderator Ian Everhart and Assistant Director of National Intelligence for Policy & Strategy Corin R. Stone discussed reforms that have taken place in the US intelligence community over the past decade. The report of the 9/11 Commission suggested a number of changes for the organization of intelligence agencies, and Stone discusses those which have been implemented as well as those which were not, and some successes that have flowed from the reorganized agency structure. Finally, Stone discussed the challenge of finding the right balance for treatment of intelligence information: Share enough to prevent future attacks, but not so broadly to put it in the hands of people who don't need it.
