Can’t support JURIST financially? We still want to hear from you!

[JURIST announcement] As I’m sure you’re aware by now, we’re nearing the end of our Spring 2013 Fundraising Drive. Although we’ve only got 3 and half days left, we’re still well short of our goal. So, if you can afford as little as $10 to support JURIST’s mission to document law and empower people, we would greatly appreciate it.

But, hey, we know how it is. JURIST is powered by more than 60 law students, which is to say that we’re familiar with tight bank accounts and we appreciate that not all of our readers may be able to support us financially. That doesn’t mean we don’t value your support, and it doesn’t mean that we don’t want to hear from you!

I’d like to invite everyone to share your JURIST experiences by sending an email to testimonials@jurist.org. Our current and former staff members have shared the benefits they’ve reaped from working with JURIST, the motivations that lead them to JURIST in the first place, and how they think JURIST benefits the world at large.

Now it’s your turn! Send us an email at testimonials@jurist.org and tell us what you get from reading JURIST, what makes JURIST unique, and why you think we should keep doing what we do. Be sure to include your name and your location. If you’ve got no objections, we’ll share your thoughts with your fellow JURIST fans!

When we say that we value your support, we don’t only mean that we value your financial contributions. JURIST exists to provide our readers with objective legal news and informed, civil, expert commentary. Without our readers, it’s a moot point. As such, we value your attention, your time, your intellectual curiosity, and your willingness to forego sensationalism in favor of reasoned discourse.

Let us know what you value about JURIST!
