BREAKING NEWS ~ Rehnquist denies retirement rumors Holly Manges Jones at 9:25 PM ET [JURIST] AP is reporting that US Supreme Court Chief Justice William Rehnquist is spurning rumors of his retirement after admission to the hospital [JURIST report] this week for a fever, saying he will serve as long as his health allows him. "I am not about to announce my retirement," he is quoted as saying in a statement. I want to put to rest the speculation and unfounded rumors of my imminent retirement.
